Continuous inkjet (CIJ) technology is to make conductive ink form a continuous flow in a closed loop. Key features of CIJ technology

CIJ technology is very suitable for high-speed printing, with the ability to eject 62,000 ink drops per second per nozzle. It can generate fine images with sufficient resolution when viewed from 5 feet away. It is different from the Inkjet Printer based on other liquid ink technology. The CIJ inkjet printer can ensure multiple inkjet copies through constant ink viscosity monitoring and control, with highly consistent color quality.

Because of the use of more expensive permanent nozzles and the ink flow subsystem that drives them, the price of inkjet printers using CIJ technology is relatively higher than the price of inkjet printers using other technologies, but the final output cost is very low.

CIJ inkjet printers can use solvent-based, low-viscosity inks, so you can use a variety of inkjet media without matching ink and inkjet media. And there is no need to dry, so you can save a lot of time and energy, and make the system reduce wear and tear.

Advantages of CIJ

In terms of large-format printing, CIJ printing has many practical and economic advantages compared to other printing technologies. The nozzle ejects ink droplets at high speed, which can ensure higher printing accuracy when the distance from the medium is far. This ability is very critical when using materials with small wrinkles or warpage, or pre-pocketed or pre-seamed media in large format printing.

The operating cost of the CIJ inkjet printer is very low-the cost of ink supplies (ink and solvent) per square foot of inkjet printing is generally between 0.977-2.045 US dollars. If you take into account the fact that any coil can be used as a printing substrate, CIJ's high-performance price ratio becomes more obvious.

The CIJ inkjet printer can print on various substrates, including paper, vinyl for front and back lighting, polyvinyl chloride, reticulated polyvinyl chloride, scaffolding mesh, nylon, Panaflex, Tyvek, wire mesh, canvas, Carpets and other textiles. This greatly increases the scope and type of companies using CIJ inkjet printers when undertaking projects.

The CIJ inkjet printer can print high-quality images with stable colors at a very high speed, including clear text and crisp line art.

When using other inkjet technology, if too many nozzles are blocked or deviated, the nozzle must be replaced frequently.
