The crux of the weak development is that the health management industry has encountered difficulties in positioning and running-in. “It’s easy to put technology into the platform, but in terms of data integration, it will face the problem of lack of standards.” Gu Shufeng pointed out that the data portal is crucial for solving the “information island”. “Health management can't be achieved with just one type of data, but because of the different brand manufacturers, the health data collected is not relevant.”
Gu Shufeng revealed that at the 19th Plenary Session of the China Mobile Standardization Association Mobile Internet Application and Terminal Technology Working Committee (TC11), two health management related standards led by Miao Health and participated in the drafting were approved and passed the “marking”. It is reported that the two standards were initiated by the China CDC Center for Chronic Diseases, and were written by Miao Health, involving more than 300 smart wearable devices.

In the next step, Miao Health will work with the China CDC Center for Chronic Diseases to improve the “marking” and promote its application and marketization.
"Chaotic image" or "illusion"?
Generally speaking, the health management track is lower because of the lack of medical treatment. Although there is no small gap between health management services and medical services at the SOP level, it is too early for Gu Shufeng to simply describe the development of the health management industry with “chaos”.
“Health management is more of a means of service. Different institutions or enterprises will have different ways of choosing.” Gu Shufeng believes that the overall development of health management is still good, especially under the policy encouragement and industry standards. "online + offline" capability output
According to the "China Health Management and Health Industry Development Report (2018)", the development of China's health management (physical examination) slowed down in 2017. Most health management (physical examination) institutions still mainly provide medical examination services, and there are few pre-examination consultation services, post-test health assessment and intervention tracking services. Part of the reason is that health management outside the physical examination needs to test the user's autonomy and compliance. From this point of view, Miao Health conducts health behavior interventions in a “gamification” way, bringing new ideas to the industry.
