ADVANCED INKJET TECHNOLOGY Launches Four-Color Inkjet Printer

Australia's ADVANCED INKJET TECHNOLOGY (AIT) announced the launch of the SquidJet digital press. The four-color machine is a modular design, using Xaar's 1001 inkjet head. The aircraft was manufactured by Rapid Machinery in New South Wales. AIT implanted the Ixpressia inkjet software in the machine and brought the product to market. SquidJet can be available in a variety of widths, with a range of modules to choose from, such as UV flexo, die cutting, hot stamping, lamination, RFID tag insertion, slitting, rewinding, web cutting and so on. Xaar inkjet heads can reach a printing speed of 40 meters per minute at a resolution of 960 dpi.
