[Office Partner Information Center] As a commonly used inkjet machine, frequent cleaning is essential. Under normal circumstances, inkjet printing can be cleaned and maintained every time the Ink Cartridge is replaced. The cleaning procedure is also very simple, just wipe it with a damp cloth. Of course, if necessary, you can use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove fine paper dust and dust from the paper path.
It is important to note that water, alcohol or other cleaning liquids should not enter the inside of the print unit and could damage the unit. In addition, the noise emitted by the carriage moving back and forth is normal, so don't worry.
Cleaning and maintenance
When the all-in-one is used for a long time, it will inevitably leave fingerprints, stains, dust and other dirt on the glass plate, which will reduce performance and affect accuracy when copying or scanning. Turn off the power when cleaning the glass, wipe gently with a damp cloth, and then dry the glass with a soft, dry soft cloth. Be careful not to use corrosive liquids that can cause damage to content equipment.
Calibrate and clean the print head
Correcting the print cartridges ensures that the all-in-one drops the ink correctly side by side while printing text or graphics. The most convenient way to calibrate is to use the all-in-one utility to calibrate and clean the printheads.
After selecting and confirming the correct model in the found all-in-one device, continue to install the all-in-one. Once the driver is installed, you can use the all-in-one. Press the "Settings" button on the operation panel and select "Network" from the setup menu. Select "Wireless Setup Wizard" in the network menu interface.

How to manually clean the cartridge
If the all-in-one still has ink in the ink cartridge, it may cause disconnection, color cast, etc. during printing, indicating that some of the nozzles in the ink cartridge may be clogged. If you still have no significant improvement after using the all-in-one cleaning cartridge program, you can try to clean the cartridge manually.
Open the cartridge compartment and use a little force to remove the cartridge from the all-in-one. After removing the ink cartridge, find the nozzle of the ink cartridge, that is, the part with the integrated circuit at the bottom, which is the position of the nozzle. Prepare a small box of warm water of about 50-60 degrees, soak the nozzle at the bottom of the cartridge into the water for 3-5 minutes.
Remove the ink cartridge from the water and dry it with a little force. It is normal to have a small amount of ink in the nozzle section, so don't worry. Look for a clean napkin to blot the ink at the nozzle of the cartridge. Be careful not to wipe the circuit board of the nozzle, which may cause the nozzle to clog. Reinstall the cleaned cartridge back to the all-in-one and print a test page to see the cleaning effect. If there is no improvement, then you have to replace the ink cartridges.
