The CTP inkjet system can produce printed aluminum plates without chemical development. The patented special ink Liqui Dot directly records the printed image information on the uncoated aluminum plates. When in use, the printing plate is placed on the input table, and the printing plate is automatically input. The optical sensor recognizes the front edge of the printing plate and checks the positioning accuracy to ensure that the printing plate is aligned. Navigator-RIP obtained a Harlequin license to control the iCtP platemaking system. All dedicated RIP parameters are adjusted in the so-called Page-Setup layout setting dialog box, and the resolution, media size, etc. are set in this dialog box.
The calculated bitmap is transmitted to the Inkjet Printer through the USB interface, which prints the image bidirectionally on the anodized aluminum plate. Through various settings of RIP, you can calculate gray scale, imposition, spot color, CMYK color or RGB color data. Calibration curve can be drawn through Calibration Manager calibration management software. With the adjustment of the curve, the inkjet machine can achieve high-quality printing.
In order to achieve the perfect effect, select the preset and stored curves in the Calibration Manager, so that the equipment can be put into production soon after installation. It has stored the most commonly used plate size. The distance between the image and the edge of the printing plate can be adjusted individually.
